Alliance Members Roles & Responsibilities
Small Business Alliance of Government Contractors Members and Stakeholders take action to break down barriers to access federal contracts through a combined strength, making connections, providing access to news and resources, holding government leaders accountable and advocating for the advancement of America’s small business suppliers.
Who:
Agency Small Business Representatives and Acquisition Professionals
Large Prime Contractor Small Business Liaison Officers
Notify Alliance Leaders of upcoming purchasing as forecasts, Sources Sought notices (SS), Requests for Information (RFI), and Request for Proposals (RFP), etc. are released - with links.
Identify and share with the Alliance any internal barriers that conflict with the Small Business Act of 1978 that clearly states that small business suppliers are provided with the “maximum practicable opportunity.”
Provide feedback on regulatory actions as to their impact on your ability to support small business federal suppliers. Make recommendations as to how best to implement the regulations to ensure Agencies / Large Primes are able to easily comply with them and so that the Alliance can submit comments accordingly.
Participate in Education and Matchmaking.
Share Alliance activities widely.

Participate in Education and Matchmaking.
Share Alliance upcoming activities with your members and their clientele.
Help identify how we can further support small business growth by providing feedback on your clientele's needs.
Provide legislative insights on actions that directly impact PTACs and or small businesses - ie - PTAC funding.
PCRs
Participate in Education and Matchmaking.
Share Alliance activities widely.
Notify us of upcoming purchasing opportunities.
Notify us of legislative and regulatory items that impact small business access to contracts and make recommendations as to the best course of action for agencies and small businesses.
ASBCC & USWCC Supplier Members
Participate in Education and Matchmaking activities.
Where appropriate, give back - mentor, speak, speak to congress, testify before congress, speak to the media.
Stay aware of activities in your industry and with your primary agencies. Notify the Alliance of advances, issues, etc. Provide the Alliance with details on anything on which we need to take action; i.e. legislation to remedy an issue.
Participate in task force activities.
Leverage Chamber and Alliance resources.
Participate in Advocacy Outreach when called upon.
Provide feedback on regulatory actions and agency issues.

Please provide the Alliance with key information impacting federal contracting. Information will be reviewed and assigned to a task force if appropriate.
